Karong August 8, 2011 pagasaulogon sa mga taga Lupon ang 63rd Araw ng Lupon.

Daghang mga activities ang ginahimo ang lokal na pang-gobyerno sa Lupon pinaagi sa Mayor's Office ug Lupon Tourism Office.

Helping our Hospital to provide Ambulance services to Luponians

Kini nahitabo tungod sa usa ka incidente nga ang usa ka buntis namatay ug ang iyahang bata ug ang gipasanginlan kay walay magamit nga ambulansya. Nahimo ni nga issue sa Lupon Facebook Group Page ug nahatagan ug pagtagad sa mga taong nagpangga sa Lupon.

Tungod atong panghitaboa, daghang mga tao ang nagbasol sa mga hingtunggan ug gipaabot sa media ug gibatbatan pag-ayo ang atong Mayor. Daghang mga nagkadaiyang butang ang nahisgutan.

Matud pa ni Doctor Razo sa LDH, "Actually the baby died already at the house of the patient kay naghome delivery. The mother came in na naga-bleeding, she lost lots of blood already, its the fault of the mananabang kay nagtuga tuga pa ug paanak na gibawal naman jud na sa gobyerno karon..."

The root cause of the problem kay naghome delivery, sala sa mananabang. Then one thing led to another.. she needed blood transfusion and surgery, sumpay ni Doctor.

Iyahang gitubag ang pangutana kung nagkulang ba ang LGU? "Nope not really.. may sala pud ang pasyente, ang mananabang, ug ang kawad-on, ang pagkamangmang, naaccentuate lng sa lack of ambulance."

DILI TA DAPAT MAGBASOL UG MGA HINGTUNGDAN... MANGITA UNTA TA UG SOLUSYON SA PROBLEMA. Taga Lupon man tatanan, magtinabangay ta ninyu unsaon pagsolve sa problema. Dili ta molambu kung cge lang ta mambasol.

Matud pa ni Mr. Norbel Salazar, "I just lost my father last Aug. 15, 2011. During that time wala jud mi naka-gamit ug ambulance coz daut daw. Nope, I'm not blaming my father's death because of that failure to get the service of an ambulance, coz we know its God's will. Pero dili nko gusto na ma experience sa uban ang na experience skua pamilya that time. Now in behalf of the family of the late Engr. Rofolfo S. Salazar we donating 10,000 pesos for a possible purchase of an ambulance. I hope this well help as get started."

"For everyone's info, ang ambulance sa LGU-Lupon is very accessible. All you got is call the attention of the driver then pwede na daun nimo magamit ang ambulance. Sa tinood lang jud dali ra kaau ang paggamit sa ambulansya sa Lupon. Even the neighboring towns maka gamit man gani nagkataon lang jud during that incident of my father daot ang ambulansya", sumpa niya.

The lack of ambulance in our district hospital has already resulted to a number of unnecessary loss of lives. Mao nga nagkahiusa ang mga member sa FB Group page sa Lupon na magtinabangay na madungagan ang gi-donate sa Salazar family para sa Ambulance.

Maong giawhag namo tanang taga-Lupon ug kadtong mga tinud-anay nga nagpangga sa Lupon na motabang unta na mahimung malampuson ang maong katikaran.

1. WHO MAY ENTER


The contest is open to all girls living and studying in Lupon aged 12 and below.

Photo Contest is open to all casual, amateur, and professional photographers.


2. HOW TO ENTER


Each entrant can only submit 1 photo. All entries must be submitted and received by July 31, 2011 at 11:59PM Philippine time. An email of receipt and acceptance from the official email iluvroy2@gmail.com will be sent once your entries are received.

Submit your entries in an email to iluvroy2@gmail.com. Include the following details:

* Full name:

* Age:

* Address in Lupon (Purok only or Barangay if outside Poblacion):

* School:

* Contact Number (Guardian):

* Photographer:

Once submitted, entrants agree that the data above, especially name and address, may be shared for the purposes of the contest.

Photographs must have been taken within 3 months before the date of entry and may not previously have won an award in any photography contest. Minor editing and cropping are acceptable, as is with effects taken with the camera (for example: fish-eye effect taken with a lomography fisheye 35mm camera). Effects created in/with Photoshop or any photo editing software is not permitted. Post process is allowed for color enhancement, cropping, gamma adjustment, focus adjustment, color balance and correction. Major image manipulation is not acceptable.

Photographs must be taken by her Guardian, Friend or a Photographer and does not violate any copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity, or intellectual property rights. It must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

Photographs must not contain any personal watermark. The we will place a watermark on the photo after submission to ensure that photographs will not be distributed without credit after photos are published in the Facebook page of Lupon. All entries will become property of the Photo Contest, until December 2011, or when the 2011 wraps up. Photo Contest will be given the right to use the photos in any Lupon-related publication and events with full credit given to the photographer. (Photo Contest will not use any photograph without the consent of the owner.)

Photo Contest has the right to disqualify photographs which do not meet the guidelines even after the submission process (August 1, 2011.


3. JUDGING


All photos will be uploaded in one album at Lupon Facebook group. Photos will be properly labeled.

The Most Number of Likes obtained by the photo in the Lupon Facebook pages of the contest will WIN.

Note: Likes by individual without profile photo, or no friends and/or no activity will not be counted. Photo Contest will have the right to disqualify any contestant found manipulating the number of their likes.


4. PRIZES


Only (3) three winners will be chosen Most LIKED Photo: one grand winner and 2 runners-up.

Grand Winner will win P1,000.00
1st Runner-up will win 500.00
2nd Runner-up will win 500.00
Photographer of the Most Liked Photo will receive P1,000

The first 5 persons to join will each receive gift souvenir from GMA Kapuso courtesy of Mr. Derf Maiz.


Prizes should be claimed sixty (60) days upon notice. Failure to claim will automatically forfeit the prize. Two (2) valid IDs must be presented upon claiming the prize.

Ang bag-ong People's Park

Mao kini karon ang bag-ong People's Park sa Lupon ang kanhing Lupon Plaza o Rizal Park. Kini gigahinan ug pagtagad sa atong pinalanggang Mayor alang sa katawhan sa Lupon. Importante kining lugara tungod kay dinhi ginapahigayun ang mga dagkung mga katikaran sama sa pagsa-ulog sa Fiesta ug uban pa.

Dili usab nato hikalimtan ang mga tao nga nagpaluyo sa pag-maintain sa atong Lupon Plaza kaniadtong nangaging mga katuigan.

Aroma Beach sa Lupon

Adunay daghang mga bisita sa Lupon nga mangaligo sa Aroma Beach tungod kini nasakop lang sa Poblacion duol ra alang sa gusto magpahangin ug maglipay sa mga barkada kay adunay mga cottages alang sa kadtong gustong mag-piknik.

Tabo sa Lupon

Ang Palengke sa Lupon nahimutang sa Centro sa Lungsod. Kada martes adunay Tabo (Outdoor Market) nga nagabaligya ug mga nagkadaiyang mga palitunon, gikan sa presko nga mga prutas ug gulay, aduna puy mga ukay-ukay, gamit sa balay, mga besti, mga pagkaon ug mga mainum ug daghan pa.

Pwede kamo makapalit ug makaon sa mga food vendor na inyung madala samtang ma-mili sa inyung palitunon, ug maka-lingaw usab ang palibot nga maoy nakapa-unique sa palengke.
